Life is very busy here. We had Nico’s sister from NZ stay with us during the holidays which was fun. We met her son for the first time, Luka. He is a mini Jonas! If you don’t believe me just look at the photo.
The weather here is SENSATIONAL….27 every day and no humidity like when we first arrived!! We hear people are freezing down south…LOL. This really is paradise when the humidity is gone. The holidays just blew past which is always too fast. We snorkelled the Great Barrier Reef and Nico also did some diving. After having spent six months doing “tropical” things, we decided to visit inland QLD. What a harsh contrast this was compared to where we live. Jonas just loved the Lava Tubes in Undara (Aboriginal for ‘a long way’). They were really amazing and hard to believe the hot lava from millions of years ago carved out these perfect tubes for km and km in the middle of nowhere.
